Join Miss Valerie Salgado for an all-skill-levels open adult pop up Jazz class on four Wednesday nights in July 8th, 15th, 29th, and August 5th! Teens welcome!
Miss Val will teach technique and incorporate fun choreography from Broadway musicals and her own professional performing experience. You can expect to sweat and smile with a warm up, across the floors, and a great combo to fill your soul at the end!
We offer a bonus class with Taylor Kosobud - dancer a Fordham Ailey and Jazz extraordinaire at Steps on Broadway in New York City! Miss Taylor will draw on her experience in NYC for this Sunday class on July 19th 12:30 - 2:00pm You can also expect to sweat and smile with a warm up, across the floors, and a great combo at the end!
If you attend all 5 classes in the series, we’re offering $10 total price with a five class card for $115. Pop up drop in is $25.

Performing Arts Workshop (P.A.W.) has been offering high-caliber dance training to the greater San Diego dance community since 1996. Our studio is a safe, inclusive environment for everyone from the appreciator to the professional. PAW enables each student to reach his or her full potential through hard work, encouragement, discipline, individual focus, dance education, correct technical training, creativity, and artistry. PAW Studio Company is for dancers ages 18 and up who attend class regularly at PAW and rehearse and perform in our community year round. These dancers learn new choreography, both classical and contemporary works, bond, enjoy, create, improve, and practice the magical art of performing.
PAW Studio Company dancers are invited to participate in some or all of the following opportunities : Nutcracker, Nutcracker Tea, Nutcracker Outreach, Winter Performance, Spring Performance, Del Mar Fair Performance.
Join us for the third San Diego Dance Convening as we gather at Performing Arts Workshop in Encinitas for an afternoon of connection, conversation, and collective visioning.
This gathering will feature a special Steering Committee panel, "The Hybrid Dance Leader: Leadership, Service, and Community-Building in Today's Dance Ecosystem." The conversation will highlight the many ways leadership shows up within our field and the realities of wearing multiple hats as artists, educators, entrepreneurs, administrators, and advocates.
Join us for a week of sweat, joy, technique, and friends. This intensive is designed for beginning/intermediate to advanced adults who love ballet and practice at least twice a week. We will offer daily class, repertory, conditioning, and pointe (as appropriate). Pointe shoes are optional!

Beginning Ballet is designed for people who have never taken a ballet class before. Those that have some experience are also welcome! In Beginning Ballet you will learn vocabulary, alignment, correct technique, positions, and how to connect the steps. Our Beginning Ballet workshop will prepare you for our drop-in weekly classes.
Dates: 7/13 - 7/17, Mon - Fri, 6:30 - 8:00pm
Students will need: comfortable clothes to move in, socks or ballet shoes, hair back, and an excitement to learn!

LEARN, CREATE, TRANSFORM
Classical technique and contemporary choreography.
Mon - Fri || July 13th - 17th || 9:00 - 3:00pm
Discover the art of choreography and unlock your creative voice through movement. Participating dancers will take technique classes in ballet and contemporary , learn repertory, and have the chance to create their own repertory. This intensive will help young dancers prepare for choreographic opportunities in their community, build communication, leadership, and collaboration skills, and work on ideas in movement together.

INTENSIVE COST: $400 (tuition is pro-rated with attendance)
Participating dancers between 11 & 18 will need at least 3 years of strong training in ballet and pointe shoes if en pointe.
Please bring leotard, tights, warmers, comfortable contemporary clothes, notebook & pen, water, and an extra small meal for the break.

Ballet Collective San Diego is proud to present IDIOMA, an evening of dynamic, witty, and diverse contemporary ballet works by local choreographers Paulette Andalon, Tylor Bradshaw, Holly Meacham, Whitney Edwards, and Emily Miller with Guest Choreographer Holly Curran (Metropolitan Opera NYC).
We are so pleased to offer the opportunity to learn with Nilas Martins - former principal dancer with New York City Ballet and Repetiteur of the George Balanchine Trust. These classes focus on technique, musicality, and artistry. $35 for technique class and $50 for both technique and variations. Open to adult dancers and dancers 12 - 18!
